We use the official beep test audio that is used by the Victoria Police in Victoria Australia. The beep test audio is provided by the Australian Defense Force and the good news is you can download it for free!

This is an mp3 file which can be played on most mp3 players such as an iPod or similar device. We use a portable speaker that we take outdoors on training sessions with clients but can also be used indoors and plugged into an electricity socket. We simply plug our iPod which has the beep test audio file download on it and this works a treat. However for most people having it on your iPod or similar device would work also.
How to conduct a Beep Test
If you would like to set up your own beep test then you will need:
- A non slip surface that is flat and 20 metres in length
- Some marking cones to place at each each
- A measuring tape
- The Beep test audio program
- An audio player to play the beep test sound track
